This porcelain vase is adorned with a traditional Chinese flower and bird painting. Two birds gracefully perch on a rare rock, beside which stands a pomegranate tree laden with ripe, luscious fruits. The mature pomegranates, with their peels have split open, exude a captivating ruby red fruit, like a happily smiling face. Therefore, this porcelain vase also conveys a good wish of “May you laughter and joy always (笑口常開)”.
